Do you accept walk-ins?
Not really. It depends though. If it's a flash day sale and I'm running a special and I have an opening, then sure! But most of the time I'm just appointment only.
How far out are you booked?
Booking times vary. Some appointments can be scheduled within weeks, while larger or custom pieces may take longer. Only way to know is by clicking that "book now" button and checking out the schedule.
Do I need to leave a deposit?
Yes. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This goes toward the final cost of your tattoo.
Can I reschedule my appointment?

Will I see my design before my appointment?
Designs are typically discussed and finalized the night before the appointment. Minor adjustments can be made then and again at the time of the appointment (if needed).
Will you tattoo my own design or one that I already had drawn up?
Yes! If it's your own artwork or you had a friend or loved one draw something up for you or if you got permission and paid another artist to design something, I can tattoo that on you!
Will you copy another tattoo exactly?
No. Please don't ask me to copy another tattoo or another artists design identically. That's not art... that's just stealing (and that's not cool). I create original designs inspired by references to ensure your tattoo is unique.
before, during & after.
How should I prepare for my tattoo?
Make sure to:
-
Eat a good meal beforehand
-
Stay hydrated
-
Get plenty of rest
-
Avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment
What should I bring to my appointment?
Feel free to bring:
-
Headphones - listen to your own music, watch a show, listen to a book or scroll to your hearts desire!
-
Something to stay hydrated
-
A snack
-
A blanket, if you get cold easily - I also have blankets, that get washed after each use, that are available
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. Absolutely! Try to limit it to 2 friends at any given time and please do not bring anyone under 12 unless it's been discussed prior to your appointment.
What should I wear to my appointment?
I suggest wearing something:
-
comfortable
-
allows for easy access to the location we will be tattooing
-
and wont matter if ink gets on it
Does it hurt?
Yes—but it’s manageable. Pain levels vary depending on placement and your tolerance.
Can I use numbing cream?
As long as the product contains under 5% lidocaine, I don't mind. In some cases numbing cream can adversely affect the way the tattoo heals, knowing the risks and possible outcomes is on the client, not the artist. Please do your research when weighing your options.
What do you use to wrap the tattoo and the end of the session?
Good ol' cling wrap. In my experience it's best to let the tattoo breathe and heal by just keeping it clean and moisturized.
I have second skin bandages like Saniderm and Tegaderm available upon request but genereally I try to steer clients away from it - unless it's absolutely necessary.
How do I take care of my tattoo?
You’ll receive an aftercare kit once the session is over that includes a detailed instructions along with the products you're going to need to take care of the tattoo but the basics are:
-
Keep it clean
-
Moisturize lightly with an unscented product
-
Avoid soaking in water and exposure to the sun
How long does healing take?
Surface healing takes about 2–3 weeks. Full healing can take up to 4–6 weeks.
What if something seems wrong?
Text Kim immediately. It’s better to ask than guess when it comes to healing. 417.773.2983
